What edge finishes are available for painted steel coil?
Edge conditioning on painted steel is especially important. Once a coil is slit, the cut edge is bare and potentially sharp, which can create safety concerns during handling or in the finished product. We offer a #5 deburred edge (a clean, burr-free edge for general applications), a #4 modified round (slightly rounded for safer handling), and a #1 full round (the smoothest edge profile, used when the finished edge will be exposed or touched by end users).
