Metal Washers

A washer is a thin metal piece, usually round in shape, with a hole in the center. They are used to distribute pressure from a nut or screw to a larger area. Washers come in three major types – Plain Washers, Spring Washers and Locking Washers.

Aluminum, brass, copper, tin and steel can be used in the fabrication of washers.
