Painted Steel Edge Conditioning is the process of rolling the edge of painted materials to a desired shape. We offer deburred, round, modified round, and specialty edges upon request. This process is performed to remove the slitting burr from the edge of the slit metal, making the edge safe for exposed applications. Edge conditioning can also apply a full radius to the strip for applications requiring a full-round edge.
At Consolidated Metal, you can choose from the following edge types:
- Deburred (#5 edge)
- Round (#1 edge)
- Modified Round (#4 edge)
- Specialty edges available upon request
